Child Safety Standards on Reflip

​​Our Commitment

​

The safety of minors is our highest priority. Reflip has a strict zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA). Such content and behavior are strictly prohibited on our platform.

Age Requirements

​

The minimum age to use Reflip is 16 years. Accounts found to be operated by users under this age will be immediately suspended.

​

Prohibited Content and Behavior

​

Users are strictly forbidden from creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing content that:

  • Exploits or abuses children sexually.

  • Contains Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

  • Promotes or engages in grooming (initiating sexual contact with minors) or sextortion.

Moderation


To ensure a safe environment, Reflip uses a multi-layered approach:

  • Automated content analysis of every post to detect prohibited content in text, image and video content. Posts that are detected to contain potentially problematic content get restricted and are not visible for other users until our team has reviewed the post.

  • Community reporting that is easily accessible for every post (details see below).

  • Manual review of automatically detected violations of our community guidelines and of manual reports of other users by our team.

How to Report (In-App Reporting)

 

We empower our users to report concerning content quickly and easily. Users can report any post, comment, profile, story, chat or chat message directly in the app:

  1. Navigate to the concerning content or profile.

  2. Open the options menu (tap the three dots in the top right or hold long onto the content) and select "Report".

  3. Choose the appropriate category for child safety/abuse and submit. Reports related to child safety are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours.

Consequences and Reporting to Authorities

 

If we become aware of content violating this policy, we take immediate action. This includes the immediate removal of the violating content and the permanent suspension of the offending accounts.

In compliance with applicable child protection laws, confirmed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is reported to the appropriate national or international authorities.
